In response to last year’s food drive aimed at addressing student food insecurity, FUS is thrilled to announce the official launch of the FUS Food Pantry.
After consulting with our faculty and various food banks, we recognize that donations are more convenient and effective compared to physical food contributions. In collaboration with the Dean and the Faculty of Forestry, contributions can be made to the existing Forestry Student Emergency Fund, with a specification towards the “FUS Food Pantry.” Donations can be made here: Forestry Student Emergency Fund (donations are tax deductible).
Your financial contributions will enable FUS to bulk purchase essential items catering to student’s specific needs. In addition, it is also a convenient way to contribute, as it saves the time and effort of selecting and delivering food items, while still making an impact.
We encourage you to spread word about this initiative with family, friends, and colleagues in the forestry industry who might be interested in contributing to this cause.
This donation drive will run from December 1st till December 31st. Every contribution, big or small, helps!
