Please join us in welcoming two great additions to the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Forestry.
- Louis Leung joins us from Hiring Solutions and will be working with Carl’s team while Derek is on leave. He will be a resource person for the DO on issues relating to computer hardware or software problems and under Carl’s direction, will work on ongoing laptop and system refresh and other projects.
- Bhagyashri Sadanand Kadam also joins us from Hiring Solutions as the DO Facilities and Operations Support staff person covering all of the front counter duties as well as facilities related responsibilities while Nicole Lee transitions to the HR & Administrative Coordinator position.
Both Bhagyashri and Louis will start tomorrow, February 7th. Please pop by and say hello, you can find Louis in room 1502 and Bhagyashri by the front counter workstation.
A quick note on the re-alignment in job duties, we will now have one person dedicated to HR functions and the other one for front counter and facilities. An active posting for the Facilities and Operations support staff can be found here, feel free to circulate to people who you think may be interested.
Nicole will be transitioning to the HR & Administrative coordinator role and has been shadowing Jennifer for the past few days. As you all are aware, Jennifer will be leaving her role as HR & Facilities Coordinator and her last day on site will be Feb 8 (Wednesday).
Jen has been a valuable asset to the Dean’s Office supporting us on many fronts, please join us on Feb 8th, 2023 starting at 2:30 pm for coffee/tea. Great time to wish Jen all of the very best in her new career journey. Thank you in advance to Lily for organizing the farewell social.
