Welcome, Rachel!
Please join us as we welcome Rachel to the Forestry Student Services Team as our new Workday Student Project Manager. This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing projects relating to the development and implementation of Workday Student within the Faculties of Applied Science, Forestry, and Land and Food Systems. Significant change will be required to bring the Faculties into alignment in this transition due to the complexity of each Faculty’s degree paths. Rachel has extensive UBC experience and is joining us from the International Student Initiative where she started as an International Student Recruiter/Advisor before becoming the Manager, Americas, Middle East and Africa (AMEA). Prior to this, she was the Student Services Coordinator for the UBC Asia Pacific Regional Office and Coordinator and Student Exchange Office for UBC Go Global. Rachels holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Education in Higher Education Studies from UBC. Her first day will be January 23, 2023, and we are incredibly excited as we need the extra help!
She will be working in the Student Services Offices across the three faculties so please swing by and introduce yourself!
