Hazardous Materials Storage Air Quality Issues

I’m writing to you on behalf of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee. We are having air quality problems in the hazardous materials storage rooms, FSC 1723 and FSC 1725.

In order to keep all users safe, it is now necessary to use fit-tested respirators when accessing these rooms. Please note that It is the responsibility of the departments to ensure that employees wanting to access FSC 1723 or FSC 1725, have the necessary safety equipment before signing out keys for the hazardous materials storage rooms.
