Give Your Input on UBC’s Proposed Integrative Evaluation of Teaching Policy

Dear Faculty,

In case you have not heard, I wanted to give you a heads up that UBC is in the midst of making some changes to the overall evaluation of teaching and is seeking your input at several stages. In response to recommendations from the Senate, the idea is to formulate improved more integrative and scholarly ways to evaluate teaching. 

While recommendations will be released in the Fall for you to comment on, before those are even put forth, a committee at UBC is seeking your input and reflections now.

If you would like to read the documents below and complete their survey by July 31, 2022, you can contribute to this initial round of consultation. My understanding is you will have additional opportunities to provide feedback as this process unfolds over the coming year.
