As of April 25, 2022, fully vaccinated travellers no longer need to provide a quarantine plan, and are no longer required to follow certain federal public health measures after arriving in Canada. Unvaccinated children aged 5-11 accompanying a fully vaccinated caregiver are no longer required to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result. Additionally, international students must be under 18 to travel if they are unvaccinated. See the April 22 news release for details.

For partially or unvaccinated travellers who are currently allowed to travel to Canada, pre-entry testing requirements have not changed. Find more information in the news release.

Keep an eye out for updated travel information from the government. Graduate staff may also refer students to the Travelling Guide section in the International Student Guide.
